Isolation is a time to connect rather than distance!

I read on the internet the other day, "the whole self-isolation thing is really an introvert's wet dream!" And as an introvert, I thought "wow, that's going to be awesome!" Turns out, not so much.

Personally, I'm finding I'm speaking to more people than ever! I'm online nearly all day now, which I usually wouldn't choose to be, because I'm helping the people in my business focus on what they can do to make a difference.

Mental health issues and domestic violence are flourishing during this period of lockdown. This means that every conversation we have right now can make a difference in another person's life.

Sometimes all a person needs is to feel less alone, but other times it will be our service, product or business.
This is not a time to be opportunistic, but it's also not a time to sit on your hands and watch people struggle because you're worried about what people might think of you.

If someone needs more money coming in every week to support their family, don't withhold your business opportunity. If you have access to affordable goods or services that will save your friend money, share it! This is not a time to be self-centered.
Talk to your team, ensure they are equipped to have the necessary conversations in a way that is of service rather than tacky. Help them find their voice and lead from the heart.

It baffles me that we're being asked to socially distance when what we really need is physical distancing.

I'm working my connecting butt off right now to limit the sense of social isolation others are feeling! It is not an introvert's wet dream. But it's what we need to do right now.
